Hey I'm Rick Cobbold.

I recently completed my final year of Computer Games Art at Teesside University. I enjoy many other areas of art, however, my main interest is designing monsters and creatures for games and comics, and I feel like my style fits this area snugly. The chances are, if my drawing doesn't have grotesque features, then i'm probably drawing a commission for a less creepy audience.

Although, this is pretty obvious, my main passion is art, I also enjoy games, graphic novels (No series in particular), Juggling (To which I've attended several conventions and i'm still fairly mediocre), Watching Films, and deciding which genre of music I enjoy at that point in time. It's not a very long list, but I enjoy the things I do, and get great enjoyment from being around people as well as finding something interesting to do on my own. I hope eventually I find a career in art, whether that's in illustration or computer games I know i'll be happy as long as I get to do something I love for a living.

So that's me in a nutshell. I live a normal life, but the experiences I find are something that I wouldn't change for the world. I'm a down to earth guy so don't hesitate to email me if you have a question or query.
